Need new ideas for lunch

AAAAARG! I am SO tired of the same ole, same ole for lunch.....deli turkey sandwich or ham on light bread. What are you folks eating that gets a good balance of carbs and proteins? Would LOVE to have some ideas to change things up and have a more varied menu!! So...what's in YOUR lunch bag??

Do you have access to a fridge & a microwave at work? If that's the case, there ain't nothing you can't make at home before hand and bring for lunch.0

Here's what I do:
1.) Homemade "naked burritos" - just cook some rice and fajita style chicken with veggies on the weekend and stick them in a tupperware container. Then, make a separate little container with salsa (or go raid Taco Bell for their packets) and bring some lettuce separately (then just microwave the main bowl, and add your salsa and lettuce afterwards).
2.) Chicken Wraps - Mix Chicken with either Buffalo Sauce, Pesto Sauce, or Ceasar dressing (and I also add some greek yogurt to the pesto make it creamy), then add lettuce and cheese. If you like it, go for Parmesan cheese, as it's less calories! For the buffalo style, if you want a side of ranch - make your own low-cal ranch by mixing greek yogurt and ranch dip seasoning.
(Oh and to make this quick to prepare - just buy canned chicken - it's really quick and easy!)
Other than that, sandwiches (mix up the bread for variety, i.e. pita bread) and frozen foods if you have a freezer available (I like to microwave veggie burgers).0 -
I have this same problem! It's pretty much always a salad or sandwich from home. so over it. I like that naked burrito idea!0

Today I am having leftover chicken masala. My lunch is usually dinner leftovers. There was a post in (I think) the nutrition forum that was something like "30 lunch ideas". Some of those are pretty good!0
