NSV after only 10 days! And the crazy road to get there!

A little background to my story- last summer I was working for a horse trainer in Colorado and riding horses 6/7 days a week for at least 4/5 hours a day and doing manual labor around a ranch. I lost almost 20 lbs in a little over two months. In my last week of working at this ranch, I got in a huge riding wreck and got pitched into a fence going about 20 mph. I was concussed, tore a couple muscles in my back and still suffer from quite a bit of nerve damage but it just kind of comes with profession/hobby so I'm not heartbroken about it.
What I WAS heartbroken about was the body I was getting totally vanished! I was super strong through my core and legs and had even started getting some guns. GONE. I spent about 8 months recovering from my accident, doing physical therapy and mourning everything I had lost. Thankfully a close friend introduced me to yoga which totally changed my recovery process. I can touch my toes for the first time in my life and readjust my mid back, something my chiro hadn't been able to do in 2 years (I also have scoliosis from riding for 10+ years and other injuries) by doing yoga poses.
So about two weeks ago I went to put on a pair a jeans that last summer had been loose on me- I had to suck in my gut and do the shimmy to get them up over my hips (you know, that super not-so-sexy get over my butt dance). That was when I said enough is enough and came back to MFP. I took my measurements earlier this week too and discovered how big I had gotten. I was ashamed and embarrassed.
ANYWAY! My NSV today- those pants that were tight? Zipped RIGHT UP TODAY!!! Just out of the dryer, no less! I did my not-so-sexy shimmy of victory (I definitely have white girl can't boogie syndrome) and walked out the door feeling so optimistic and EXCITED for each little victory coming my way!
