Survivor - Eye of the Tiger
  • My choices may not be for everyone, but I like listening to Pink, three days grace, Adam lambert, Icon for Hire, paramore. Rock and strong dance beats, those help me alot to keep it going.

Volbeat and Five Finger Death Punch, Motley Crue from their first CD, Nonpoint, Chevelle, Papa Roach, Queensryche, etc.... lol, I don't think I'm the "typical" music person. Although in the mix I also have old 70's songs and a few Blake Shelton songs thrown in ;)

I like music that makes me feel energetic and maybe a little sexy. I also like music that tells me I can do anything. Here are a few songs on my workout playlist:

    Unstoppable By Foxy Shazam
Right Now By Psy (yes the Gangnam Style guy has other music... I also like KPOP)
Let Me Know by Roisin Murphy
I Like It by Foxy Shazam
Sweep The Leg by Karate High School
Hot Summer by F(x) (another KPOP)
A is for Action by Ima Robot

    Fusionradio.fm

Pretty much every song played on their radio station. In website player located at top right of page :D
  • I have found that I gravitate towards Tupac lol. Also Eminem and that JayZ/Linkin Park mashup album from awhile ago. Basically anything with a good beat. =)

looks like im a bit more hardcore than most with my workout mix...

slipknot is high on my list, as is disturbed, avenged sevenfold, clutch, five finger deathpunch.

I also have some up tempo country like Brantley gilbert, colt ford, Jason aldean...

some Eminem, and a lot of old bone thugs n harmony....

For me it depends on my mood and what the workout is. Lots of good ideas on this thread that I'll have to check out though. I recently discovered that Pandora has workout stations, so when I get bored of my playlist I try those. Eventually they are good since you can thumb up and down. They got something for everyone. Below are the name of the stations:

80′s Cardio – Billy Idol, Michael Jackson, Journey.
Alternative Endurance Training – Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rise Against, Sublime.
Classic Rock Power Workout- AC/DC, Aerosmith, Queen.
Country Fitness – Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean.
Dance Cardio – Deadmau5, Tiesto, David Guetta.
Electronic Cardio – Daft Punk, Skrillex, Diplo.
Hard Rock Strength Training – Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, Disturbed.
Pop and Hip Hop Power Workout – Ke$ha, Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce.
Pop Fitness – Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Train.
Rap Strength Training – Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Eminem.
Yoga – Deep Forest, Deepak Chakra, Brian Eno.
Yoga Workout – Cheb I Sabbah, LTJ Bukem, J-Boogie’s Dubtronic Science.

I've got about 6 playlists I try to cycle through with anything form Eric Clapton, Ram Jam & Billy Idol to Slayer, Pantera & Marilyn Manson. On the "softer" side of things I've got various Country artists like Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert & Lee Brice, or even some Daft Punk and Skrillex when I'm lacking energy.

I tend to listen to Euro Dance music. The fast Dance music seems to keep me going...
