Why didn't I track?? (body fat %)

At my gym, there is frequently one of those handheld fat monitor things. I think they use electricity currents to determine body fat %, as well as the information you enter (height, weight, age, male/female) and also produces a BMI reading. Now toward the beginning of this journey, I think I used it and it told me 30% body fat!! :drinker: I'm sure these aren't 100% accurate, but a nice downward trend is also nice, and even with 20 more lbs to lose, I am at the low end of healthy! Can I get a Woot Woot?!?:laugh:
I never wrote it down (cause then it wouldn't be true, right?:ohwell: ) But I've been periodically checking ever since (still not remembering to write anything down) Now I really wish that I would have because the reading this morning was 22%!!!!!!!! 0

Sadly those handheld BF% things can be up to 4% off. Two years ago I was trying to reach 14% BF and then maintain...I used that silly hand held thing at my gym and it kept telling me i was at 16%. Two weeks later I had a fitness assesment done by a Personal Trainer and my actuall BF was at 11.2% BIG DIF.

hmmm now that i think of it... i just took that test at a gym and i didn't write it down either... and now i forgot but it was like 32-34. but i remember that it was one of those things that started me on my changes.0

I am going into this new body fat measuremnt thing tomorrow called the BOD POD.. it is 99% accurate... u sit in this pod thing with spandex and a swim cap on... its the newest type like they use on biggest loser. this one is not water, they say even better. At my gym one says I am 25% then another 21%... so now I will Finally know the real deal!!0
