quite confused

I had to guess my weight because I don't have a scale but anyways I put 175 on the calorie counter. App and it says to get down to 140 I am on 1440 calorie diet I am exercissingg at least 30 minutes a day party of which I jog to work every other day its mile and half jog. What I'm confused about is I used a burn meter calculator and gave the same info and it says ii burn 2250 calories a day. If I understand right if I follow this diet to a tee I'll lose weight regardless of what ii do?

I would suggest sticking with the recomended calorie goal of 1450 for a few months while continuing to "exercise" at least 30 minutes a day. Then evaluate your results and determine if that works, is manageale, realistice, etc for you. Try not to get to confused on all these formulas and such...Figure out what works specifically for you.0

I ignore "net calories". I do not use that function. My nutrition and exercise schedule are consistent.0
