Am i loosing it too fast?

I have been on Keto and I have lost 15.1 kgs since April 1st going from 95 to 79.9 kgs. Though this is a welcome change, I am kinda concerned if i am being normal.
I do eat well, feel healthy and energetic.
I have tried dieting and exercise earlier (like 4 years back) and many more times before that, back then too i lost weight quickly.
When I try I loose weight quickly but when i stop i quickly gain weight too... I hope I am normal

Yes, you are normal. Anyone who loses fast is going to gain it back fast when they stop whatever helped them lose. I don't know what "keto" is, but if it going to help you yo-yo, then I say toss the stuff and lose weight the right way. You need a real lifestyle change. Not a magic pill or potion.
  • Thanks for the tip... I guess i shouldn't sweat much or rather sweat it out in the gym

Keto is a lifestyle and dietary change, not any kind of pill or anything like that. Its Atkins basically.

You wont yo-yo on it, but youll have to be commited to it for life. Otherwise, yeah you can yo-yo on it.

But in the end, its not much different than watching what you eat on any other kind of dietary lifestyle change.

Actually that is a myth, you do not gain weight quicker if you lose it quickly. Initially, if you started eating lots of carbs again you would put on a good 6lbs or so of water weight and then you'd just have to work hard like anybody does to keep it up. I'm doing a ketosis diet at the moment. I have lost 12lbs in under 3 weeks and all anybody ever says is, "what when you stop it, you'll put it all back on again?", which is not at all helpful. But I did my research starting with guidance from The National Institute of Clinical Excellence, they have lots of links to reputable studies which prove you can keep the weight off and that these diets are very effective for some people. I am planning to continue on this for another 8 weeks and then slowly add food over a period of 2 months and I WILL keep it off. Keep up the good work!

Just listen to your body. It has no problems telling you when it is having issues. If you feel good, energetic, etc... Then, don't stress about it.
  • My girlfriend's mother wanted me to start "keto" but i dropped it, i don't really diet under any of the bigger diets, i just eat in moderation and excersise, cut out sodas and stuff, i get drunk every now and then, and i've lost 35 lbs in 2 months, i'm happy with myself, people need to understand that, as soon as you eat healthy for a while, you cant stop when you reach your goal, just adapt this into your lifestyle, sure if you reach your goal weight, you could have more cheat days, but never lose sight of healthy consuming, and excersising. cause in the end, you'll live longer..
