Started training for 1/2 Marathon..weight gain?

I just started training for a 1/2 Marathon. I trained for a marathon in 2005 for 6 months, and ran/walked it! Figured it was time to start training for something new.
My question, once I started training, I've been eating a little more, not much for the running, but I'm gaining weight. I feel heavier, but am not eating much more, or bad foods for me i.e. sugar and carbs... Is this normal? Should I be eating more of something? Should I be eating less?
HELP.
Thanks.

Heavy training can cause your muscles to retain more water for extensive repair they need to do. Around 4-5 lbs for me (I have somewhere around 115 lbs of LBM). So that might be all it is.
Another possibility is that you are actually gaining weight. This might happen if you are overestimating the number of calories you are burning on your runs and eating them back (not likely because you say you aren't eating back your total calories burned). I don't trust any number that's claiming more than around 100 calories per 10 minutes. That's always been pretty accurate for me (female around 130).0
