PlexusSlim Deterrence?

Just to be clear, I am NOT doing or considering doing this PlexusSlim thing. I don't really know much about it. My question is, what do you think I should say to my friend who wants to do it, if anything? She is obese and I think she's tried a lot of different things. She's probably someone who thinks they don't have time to exercise (single mom, works long hours at a hospital, very strapped for cash), and may not know much about basic nutrition. We're in Texas and lack of information is a huge problem here. This is not a super close friend, just someone from church. On facebook she asked who would come to a PlexusSlim party if she hosted one. Should I say something to her about the dangers of fad diets? Have you ever made alternative suggestions to an acquaintance who was fad dieting? And do you know anything about PlexusSlim that I can use to deter her from trying it?
