A few days ago I purchased Body By You (the women's version of You Are Your Own Gym) and just leafed through it so far...I'm a little freaked out that there are quite a few "hanging off a door" exercises. I'm really not sure my doors can take it. Other than that it seems doable - there are easy to hard versions of the exercises, and the suggested routines only take about half an hour 3 times a week.

I've seen the Body By You as well, not sure whether to do that or just buy the YAYOG. Does it really matter if one is designed more for women? I've no idea lol

My copy of YOYOG is beat up from heavy use. When I want to make adjustments to my routine it's my go to source to find an exercie to target a specific muscle group.

I don't think the "hanging off the top of a door exercises" are good idea. I bought a pull up bar that fits over the door frame for less than 30 bucks. It's sturdy and has helped with my progress.
