Hi,
I am looking for any advice and opinions of my upcoming plan, after reading into some of the benefits of fasting for 24-48 hours (probably 24 hours). My one concern is cannibalising my muscles which I hope to offset with by consuming a high amount of protein prior to the fast. Has anyone had experiences with fasting? did you notice any muscle deterioration? how can I make this fast the most optimal and effective in fat burning as possible?
Thanks in advance for any help!

The hodgetwins regularly do 21 hour fasts and they're still buff. You can find more answers in the group above.0 -
I fast dinner to dinner (24 hours) a couple times a week. I've never noticed any effect on muscle. I've also read a bunch of studies on fasting and none have shown any significant muscle issues up to 72 hours.0
