I am so excite but this screwy weather is really ticking me off. My normal sping/summer weight loss regimine seems just out of my reach. I am a gardener. I have my planting graph done my direct seed are organized and ready to go, plants started in the house, and the garden was tilled over a week ago. It is killing me I want to get out there and start planting! My reserves in the freezer are gone from last year.
I know how much weight I lose every year when I get in the garden between the exercise from the work and eating the food I produce every summer, I know I can get my last 30lbs off and not even have to try for it! If you can tell I love to talk about gardening so I will tell you what I have in and what I am planting.
I have:
3 cherry trees, 2 apples, and I am planting 2 pears this year
Red and yellow raspberries
black, red, white and pink currants
Strawberries
Saskatoons (sort of like blue berries but easier to grow)
Red green and black goose berries
Rhubarb
What I am planting:
3 types of sweet corn
Purple, yellow wax and green beans
Sugar Pie pumpkins
Butternut squash
Spaghetti squash
Pickling and straight 8" cucumbers
Sugar baby and black diamond watermelon
Red, Orange, green, and jalopeno peppers
Roma and mortgage lifter tomatoes
Carrots
Lettuce
Spinach
Fennel
Sugar snap peas
Lima beans
Herbs:
Lavender
Basil
Oregano
Cilantro
Thyme
Sage
Rosemary
Chives
Catnip
Chamile
Fenugreek
Peppermint
Stevia
Now if you are in to gardening what do you plant???
