Today I ran 3 miles. Two months ago I couldn't even run 1 minute let alone 1 mile. And now I'm a runner. =)

    Great job!!! I feel the same way. I started running two months ago and never thought I would make it and now I actually look forward to it. Amazing accomplishment.

    I relate to your post and your joy. I am participating in my first 5K on May 18th and have a goal of jogging the entire way without walking. It will be the first 5K of my life and will not be the last.

    beware it can become habit forming the more you do the better you feel the more you want to do.
    5 years ago when I started one of my goals was a run with my daughter well next sunday 5/19 we are running a 10K together my first race. and I will run the whole thing ( slower than most )
