FitBit Flex and Android Phones

First, does anyone have one and how do you like it?

Secondly, the site list phones that the wristband works with and my Samsung Transform ultra is not listed. However, I went to the app and it said it was compatible with my phone and installed it. Did anyone have success with a phone not listed on the FitBit website?
