The Final 10!

They always say that the final 10 are the hardest to lose! I have been stuck with the final 10 for about 2 years and simply can't seem to shift them! This time I'm determined to complete the last leg of my weight loss journey and lose that final 10 and I was hoping that theres someone else out there who's in the same situation and wants to join me? I think it would help to have motivation, support, share tips on diet and exercise and have weekly weigh ins. Anyone with me?

It is hard. But some folks think shaking it up works. So, try doing some strength training, do a long workout (60 minutes) and 2 short ones instead of 3/30 minutes ones. you might even add a day of workouts where you do high intensity cardio such as running intervals.
Have a day or two when you eat more than your allotted calories (like 300 calories), and a day or two where you eat less (-300 calories). Even the carbs to protein ratio say 35% carbs, 35% protein and the rest (30%) healthy fats like nuts olive oil, avocados and fish.

Thanks John that sounds like good advice I might try that! I'm gna give the solid gym and healthy eating a go for a few weeks first and see if I get anywhere I'm determined :P I struggle a bit with healthy fats I have a nut allergy so they're out, also fish makes me ill I don't really know why! Olive oil I can do I have a drizzle on my salads and things but i have to make fats up with cheese and things mostly!0

I have more like 15-20 lbs to go. I think I could totally do it, but I sabotage myself, or hormones get the best of me every 3 weeks! So I end up losing and gaining the same 5 lbs, which would be fine IF I was already at goal. I don't have any suggestions for you because I'm not really at the last ten lbs yet. Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone! What I am doing now, is eating more around my TDEE minus maybe 10-15% and not eating back exercise calories. I know that I can lose doing that, but then I slack a bit and eat a bit more here and there and end up stalling. SO, going to really try hard to stick to 1700-1900 cal/day and hopefully I'll start toning up again and losing inches. I really don't care about the scale, I just want to firm up and lose body fat.0
