HBF Run for a Reason!

Hi!

So I have joined the HBF run for a reason. which is a 4km or 12k run for charity. i am doing the 12km and have been training for a bit now. The event is on the 26th of May, so not far. Now i know that 12km is not far but for that day I want to be as prepared as possible so it is an enjoyable experience. So my question is, do i need to do anything special to my diet 1 or 2 days before?
