Exercise question

I have been exercising 6 days a week. Alternating cardio and strength throughout the week. My question is is it best to stick with one dvd program for 2-3 weeks or can I change it up during the week? Have been doing the Biggest Loser cardio max for 2 weeks, but was getting bored and decided to do it 3 times during the week and another cardio program the other days. My week goes a little like this cardio in the mornings before work about 24-50 min. depending on the time Mon,Wed., Fri. strength Tue. Thurs. Sun. 24 min. in the mornings and then in the afternoons I sometimes walk or bike for an hour about 3 times a week.

With any exercise program you can always mix it up. Its usually better to actually. Since you are working out 6 days instead of 5, you should try something lower impact one day like yoga or pilates. The rest of the week, you can do whichever dvds you are in the mood for. The great thing about this is that not every dvd targets the same areas, so you will see a much better result in the end. Also, the more bored you are with your routine, the less likely you are to stick with it. So mix it up and have fun!0

mix it up and have fun. I think it is more important that you do not that you do something specific. If you know what I mean.0

I am the same. I have several DVDs because I know I get bored easily! I mix it up during the week because, like someone else said, each DVD targets a different area. I also make sure that I get some other exercise like walking or swimming and some resistance/strength training. I have noticed that I am much more toned than I used to be and it takes me longer to get out of breath. Hope this helps! Most important thing in that you are having fun!! :happy:0
