I would say you are an apple, though you may be a banana(ruler) shape if you lose weight. It depends on what happens with your chest and stomach. I'm that straight up and down, narrow hips, small boobs, no curves banana shape. I'm hoping the last 10 pounds will help define my waist, but we shall see.0

Im still losing...the reason I asked because when I put in my measurements. It said i was a banana but i was always lead to believe that I was apple shaped.0

You look more like an apple to me.
There's at least one calculator on line that tells me I have an hourglass figure, but I'm pretty sure my poorly defined waist, smallish chest and shoulders, and narrow hips make me a banana. When overweight my shape was more or less the same except that my waist could more appropriately be called my "spare tire area." The fat zeroed in on my midsection and it's the only place where there's any evidence of loose skin now.0
