Am I doing this correctly?

Hi, everyone.
I have a question, I'm hoping someone can give me some guidance on. I have a bodybugg, which I got last Mother's Day. I really don't like their website for the food; this one is so much easier to use (and I love the info I get from the message boards, and all of you out there!)
Anyway, what I'm doing is this: I download the bugg to their website every night, and I'm recording any calories that I've burned for the day that are in excess of my daily goal.
Does this sound correct?
Thanks in advance for all your input! And a very happy Mother's Day to all of the overworked, underappreciated, much loved, and dedicated mom's out there!

Sounds about right.
I have my fitbit account, linked to my MFP account (I know not the same device, but the calorie thing is similar).
When they sync this is what it looks like:
So you pretty much compare what the total daily burn estimate is for MFP and the total daily burn your device is giving you. The difference is the amount you can safely add into your calorie goal.
Edit: The example I gave above is broken down like this:
MFP estimates: 2062
Exercise: 416
Total MFP Daily Burn: 2478
Fitbit on the other hand gave me a total Daily of 2526. So I got an additional 48 calories on top of my exercise.0 -
Ahh...that makes sense! Thank you!0
