Necessary medications screwing with progress :(

Just a general whinge, but my levels of my necessary-for-staying-alive medication (levothyroxine) got messed up when they changed my drug and now my formerly in-control metabolism is out of control and I'm stuck on 15 kg lost. It's frustrating as all get-go. I'm still doing the right things and if I stay the course surely it'll all click in again but a month with no downward progress is so annoying it's not even funny.

I have been struggling with this for some time. I have decided to just forge ahead after months of lagging. I just got over a very bad upper respiratory infection that had me sick for nearly 3 weeks.
The thyroid meds are up and down, they have no idea what level to have me at. I have gained a few pounds. It is hard to summon up energy sometimes.
It's bad enough to have the extra weight but to have a metabolic problem along with it sucks.
No real advice I guess. Just gotta get the right level of levo to get the right TSH numbers.0 -

mine was bang on perfect, then they changed me to the bloody goldshield meds and i asked to be put back, but now i'm readjusting. trying to figure out if i'm stalled coz of drugs or plateauing, but i totally blame the drugs and it sucks coz i wa sdoing so well, had lost 15kg and now nothing. not gaining, not losing, NOTHING.0 -
i found out about 3 weeks ago that my TSH levels were about 8x normal.. my levothyroxine dosage had been too low for the better part of a year and i gained almost 40 pounds
right now i'm stuck at 7lbs lost and i totally feel you. it's so frustrating to not be able to control what your body does
once your levels get back to normal, you'll be back at it, don't give up

i've gone back on my kelp too...the biggest issue seems to be that my metabolism has crapped out again - how do I know? digestion issues. which is why i think i'm not losing...i'm not processing.
SUCKS. stupid bloody locums changing drugs.0 -
