Bump?

What does "bump" mean? I keep seeing it on the Recipe message board. I'm guessing it's a way to save a recipe...if that's correct can someone tell me how to do that? Thanks!

"Bump" is a forum term that basically is the act of posting in a thread for the purpose of "bumping" it to the top of the forum list.

It can also be a way to "save" a thread since it's easier to navigate to the thread from the recent posts section of your profile.

Bring Up My Post. (when someone "bump" the thread, they help preventing it to become to "old" for anyone to bother see it. And, as said, they can save it at their own page.)

When you answer on a post, you can see it on your profile page under "My recent forum posts". (Left side, under the pictures of your friends.) All the posts that you answer is saved there.
