So... go here and read and watch the video: http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2009/12/17/advanced-body-weight-workout-warning-this-will-kick-your-*kitten*/
I'm going to start this next Monday, the 20th. Anyone want to join me? I'm going to do it for 2 weeks.
Now, I'm doing the modified routine, and modifying it a tad bit, since I'm reasonably fit, but not THAT fit. I'm going to use weights with my squats and lunges (probably 16 lb) because I'm already doing those and using weights. I can't do a pullup or a chinup yet, but I will do the bent over dumbell row as indicated in this link on how to do pullups: http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2011/04/25/do-a-pull-up/ . I will do chin-ups with the table as best as I can, or find some other way to do them inverted, with knees bent, because I can't do it any other way (seriously need to work on upper body strength!). My goal is to do 3 circuits of each.
So, does anyone want to join me and do some version of this workout (or the beginner routine, if you don't feel ready for advanced)? We would do it Monday, Wendnesday, and Friday, or some variation of 3 days per week during the next two weeks (starting next week).
I've made up a Word document with the exercises listed, so that I can mark down things like how much weight I used for lunges or how long I did each plank, etc. If you're interested, I could upload it to Google Docs and share the link so you could download and modify it for your needs.
I'm going to do it for 2 weeks and think about another 2, depending on whether or not I am able to borrow the Insanity DVDs by then. Also, on the off days, I'm going to do either yoga or a cardio routine (with one rest day, which will be Saturday for me).
So, anyone game?

So getting ready for this challenge starting Monday, I went ahead and took photos. I'll take photos again at the end in the same clothes. I will also post beginning weight and measurements on Sunday, and won't weigh again until the end (I'll measure every Sunday, though).
Edited: The pictures won't post, so here's the link to the album: http://s1186.photobucket.com/user/castelluzzo99/library/Weight Loss Journey 20130
