Super Nervous, But Here Goes!

I've been eating 1200 calories or slightly less forever and ever. I'm 5'2" and 124 pounds. I'd love to get down to 105ish.

I currently do yoga twice a week, plus a 5 mile fast walk 2 or 3 times a week, and have added a 4 day weight training program to my regimen.

My husband and I have been doing Atkins again, but I HATE it. It doesn't work well for me and while I"m in ketosis all the time, I don't really lose any weight.

At any rate, I've been doing research and realized that I have probably slowed my metabolism down to a crawl. So I redid my numbers, calclulated my TDEE and will be eating 1500 calories a day!

Just wanted to proclaim it here, makes me super nervous, but I'll adjust over time!

    Good luck! Just a note--put your scale away for a few weeks and go by your measurements. You might see the scale go up at first, which is normal, but a lot of people get nervous that first week and don't give it enough time to work itself out.
