When i first started watching my calories and working out, I lost 15 pounds right off the bat! Now I can't get the scale to budge, but my clothes are loose. I don't understand. Before twin pregnancy I was 130 then after I had them I was 210 now I am 194 195 ish and I can't get past it! WHat am I doing wrong? I do an hour to an hour and a half of cardio every day and I stay under 1310 calories each day. Please HELP

I think personally you are not eating enough calories. To be doing an hour and an hour and half of cardio everyday, that burns alot of cals depending on what you do. Do you use a HRM? Do you do the same cardio everyday? If we do the same stuff everyday our bodies adapt and we hit a plateau sooner than we think we should. If you are losing inches that is the best indicator rather than a scale. I hid my scale. How you feel and inches lost are the best indicators of weight loss regardless of any scale number.
Hope this helps.

I'm the same right now - except that I aim for 1700 calories a day and workout 4 to 5 times a week and eat back most of my exercise calories and still haven't lost any weight in the last few weeks. I have lost inches though. I am hoping that the numbers will eventually start dropping. We just gotta hang in there!0

Yep, not eating enough.
And an hour to an hour and a half of cardio every day?!?! I think my head just popped off! I admire your determination and drive, but read this....... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/975025-in-place-of-a-road-map-short-n-sweet . Calculate your TDEE and take a cut from that. Start eating more and cut back on the cardio and start a lifting program. Then enjoy all of your good food and spare time with your precious baby. Also, I read your profile, my heart goes out to you for your horrible loss. I pray for your heart and family.0 -
I have lost nothing but inches (no lbs) and I was told that was good because then you are losing actual fat. If you lose just lbs then most likely you are going to lose muscle mass as well. I agree with changing up the cardio and doing different workouts instead of the same thing over & over. Just keep up with it and you will start seeing the results you want!0

Losing inches is a better indicator than the number on the scale. If the scale is distressing you, get rid of it.
Why are you doing so much cardio and eating so little? Contrary to what many people say, there is more to health and weight loss than JUST calories in and calories out. I hope that you haven't bought in to the low fat insanity as well... I'm 181 and I'm eating about 1600 per day regardless of exercise. I'm losing slow too, but it's not a race. It's about health for me anyway.
What about strength training? Imo, it's much better than overdoing it on the cardio. Also, having more muscle burns more fat. There are many body weight exercises that are awesome and special equipment/gym membership is not required.0 -
Your goal weight is 130 pounds
Your baseline consumption starts at (weight * 9) = 1170.
Modified for a sedentary life (1170 * 1.2) = 1400.
Plus 60 minutes of cardio (600 cals) = 2000 calories.
You're not eating enough food. Each week increase your daily calories by 100 to 200 calories.
So this week it would be 1500, next week 1700, the week after 1850, and finally 2000.0
