Sassy Water recipe

Prevention.com has a recipe to add health benefits to water. It is part of the flat belly diet and says to drink a pitcher of it daily for a 4 day jump start. I made it today and I am hooked (I'm not doing that diet btw). Is there any reason why I couldn't drink this everyday or most days? thank you 
8 1/2 cups water
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 medium cucumber, sliced thin
1 medium lemon, sliced thin
12 leaves spearmint
Directions:

Mix all ingredients together in a pitcher.

Refrigerate overnight.

Strain water.

Drink all 8 1/2 cups during the day.
