Can you make chocolate protein powder into hot chocolate???

As above really!!!!

I have the holland and Barrats own brand protein powder and I fancy a hot chocolate. I have hurt muscles in my shoulder back and neck so want to up my protein.

    You can also bake with it should you so desire.

    Does it go all lumpy though??? Should I whisk it in??? I knew people on here would know as you are all protein powder experts!!

    Add some warm water to the powder in a mug and mix it until it gets to a smooth consistency (you can whisk if you like.)

    Slowly add water off the boil (so not boiling) and keep stirring.

    It went lumpy because my water was too hot. I can't make hot chocolate with warm water it has to be hot oh well. Off to get my sieve!!!

    Can't you just put it in a closed container and shake it vigorously? If this doesn't solve the problem, treat the lumps as chocolate marshmallows in your hot chocolate.

    Don't let the milk get above 130 degrees and it will not get lumpy. It also works really well with vanilla protein powder.
