    No doubt! I always thought it was an ugly word to throw around, but when a dr first used the word "retarded" in reference to my child...well...everytime I hear it used carelessly, it's like a kick to the gut.

    I've been told I'm oversensitive to it, but there are times where anything less probably isn't sensitive enough.
