Stuck...

I have been trying to lose weight for as long as i can remember. Over the past year and a half I have lost 58 pounds. I had lost 60 lbs, but have recently gained a little. My boyfriend and l want to lose weight before we go to the lakes with his family(2months away). He has 20-25 lbs to lose to be at his "ideal" weight. I, on the other hand, have 52 lbs to go before my "ideal" weight. I have been maintaining about 175 for the last 8 months ( since my boyfriend and I got together) and i just can't seem to get past 175. I know i'm not eating as well as i should, but i only have time to work out 3 times a week. I do know that i need to crack down and start eating better. I'm not trying to lose 52 lbs in 2 months. I just want to start losing again. 10 lbs would be nice though:smile: I guess I'm looking for any other suggests that might help me ( and my boyfriend) break this plateau.

^Yep. It sounds like you know what you need to do.

It's not uncommon for people to gain weight when they enter into a new relationship. The fact that your boyfriend's looking to lose too could definintely be an andvantage if you both crack down now and encourage each other. (Please don't be discourged if he loses faster though, that's quite common too!) With 52 lbs to lose, you could easily lose 10 lbs in 2 months. Just get started!
