significant other with different schedule

I just want to hear how other people cope with this. I do not want to complain. I work 8-5 Monday through Friday. My fiance works as a bartender W, Th, F, Sun from 4-3am. The thing is we are on completely different schedules. Just last night, since he had it off, he was at a friends house til 5am playing call of duty, when I woke up for work, he was still playing. I'm not upset because I know he is not cheating or doing anything wrong, I was just curious how some other people DEAL with this. There isn't much time for us to hang out, Saturday is our day but even then he wakes up sooo late. I feel like we never go to bed at the same time and to me that is an intimate part of an relationship. I don't know, I guess I would just like to hear from other people, make sure that I am not the only one.
