Yesterday I did my favorite TaeBo DVD called "Cardio Explosion." It is a tough one, but I love it. I haven't done it in about 2 weeks. Since its been nice outside I've been trying to do my exercise running/walking. I found it was much tougher yesterday than when I was doing it every day. After it was all said and done in about 50 minutes my HRM said I burned 925 calories. Back when I was doing it every day it would read about 880.
Anyway, I ate about 1500-1600 calories yesterday, but the scale went up 1.5 pounds. I'm sure its just water from killing my muscles, but my question is how do you treat this? Keep with the tough workout? Take a rest day? Do something less crazy?
Its frustrating to think that if I just stopped exercising and kept eating about 1500 calories I'd still lose. I am in LOVE with my TaeBo DVDs and have really gotten into jogging outside, but I hate seeing the scale move UP. Does the excess water in your muscles let go the more used to the workout your body gets or do you have to stop the workout?
Thanks :flowerforyou:
