Macronutrient Ratio for Fat Loss

I currently weigh 143lbs and am 4'11. I am looking to get down to 130lbs by the end of summer. Hopefully I can do this by losing 5lbs per month. I began week 7 of Insanity yesterday, and have only lost 3 lbs the entire time. Last week I upped my calorie intake to 1500 cals/day hoping that it would help with weight loss and it did (slightly). Apparently I wasn't eating enough before.

At this point I'm really interested in losing fat and gaining some lean muscle mass. Does anyone know what amount of carbs/proteins/fats I should be eating to achieve this? I just changed my goals in MFP to 50% protein, 35% carbs, and 15% fats.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like you're doing well and have sensible goals thats really good :)

I'd say your protein is too high and your fat is way way way too low.

Protein you want to keep between 30 and 35% (beyond that the benefits of protein are minimal) then keep the rest balanced about evenly between fat and carbs, favouring fat over carbs.
