Excuses to bake/cook?

I love baking more than I do cooking. So I am constantly looking for an excuse to bake. Like tomorrow. We are having a last hurzzah before summer and everyone leaves for internships. So I wanna whip up a cake. I try to limit my excursions to when I know there will be a bunch of people, who will probably take some home.
Do you feel like you need excuses to do things in the kitchen that you enjoy? Or do you ignore the urge and keep on with the plan?

I like to be the one baking when there is dessert because I like to find lighter recipes for desserts that I love. This way I know what I am making and exactly how many calories I am consuming. Also, it's fun to make a light dessert and have people not know that it's light and see what their comments are (usually they have no idea!)0

You can still bake and make things healthier or lower calorie. For cakes, make the servings smaller. Sub applesauce for oil. Look up protein recipes, and make things like Protein Banana Break Muffins, or something similar. Being healthy doesn't mean having to give up the things you love, just means you have to mold and swap a bit.0

I bake for my kids school, they have cake sales to raise money so I use these as an opportunity to bake. I do also do friends birthdays so I can take them the cake, have a small bit and then leave it there. Cake in my house gets eaten so its safer if its elsewhere lol0

I bake, therefore I am. I need no excuse.0

If I bake, I just give it away. I made my husband's buddies a chocolate cheesecake over the weekend so I could have 1/4 slice of it. I can't have that shiz in my house! lol0

Hahaha...I meant bread muffins, but anway....
This is the one I use:
http://dashingdish.com/recipe/banana-bread-protein-muffins/
It uses greek yogurt, oats instead of flour, vanilla protein powder, and stevia instead of sugar (but if you want to use sugar you can, I did that in order to use up the sugar I had and it came out fine, just a little higher calorie). They do deflate a little bit, but they are really, really good.0
