Bodybugg/Fitbit question and Breastfeeding Calories

Hi there! Not sure if anyone will know the answer to this..but I am hoping! I have a bodybugg right now and am anxiously awaiting restock of that new Fitbit Flex. My question is, I am breastfeeding (exclusively, my baby is only 1 mo old) so everything online says I burn an extra 500 calories per day for that. Does anyone know if that burn will show up on my bodybugg and/or fitbit? Does the breastfeeding make my body run "hotter", heartrate faster, or whatever those devices read to determine calories burn? Or will it read the same as it used to, pre-breastfeeding, and I just should know to eat an extra 500 calories anyway? I'm so confused.
Thanks!

I read somewhere that it doesn't track it on the bodybugg.

I'm using the bodybugg and I'm breastfeeding as well. My baby is 6 weeks old.

There might be a setting you can check for breastfeeding on your profile for fitbit or bodybugg, but it won't know automatically. Make sure you get your extra calories in to keep up your supply.

I have a fitbit and breastfeeding. There is a spot to mark breastfeeding on the fitbit settings, but it doesn't change any of the calorie readings. I created an activity for breastfeeding as cardio for 1 minute on MFP and manually add in 500 calories (adds macros so more accurate). When they are sync, you will see the breastfeeding under the activity tab on the fitbit website. I really don't look at the calories on fitbit. Since I am able to sync all day, I just go off of what MFP says I can eat calorie wise (fitbit gives or takes away calories based on activity if you want it to). It has been quite accurate for me.
