Heart rate monitor calories burned

Hey guys, I've begun using a heart rate monitor but have noticed that it's calculating calories burned at about twice as much as I find on MFP for the same activity. How accurate do you think this is?

Your heart rate monitor will def be more accurate. MFP figures are an estimate. I go by my heart rate monitor.0

Thanks for that question - I noticed the same thing and so when the machine is at 550, the HRM is at 1100.... I'd much rather go with the 1100.
