Hello my name is Brooke and I am 18 years old ![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Weight has actually been a struggle for me since I was a child, and when I got older I managed to keep a decent weight.
But since I am 5'0", and I love food and junk food, I have started to gain weight, and i'm now at 142 pounds, which is overweight for my height. My healthy weight is actually 100 pounds, so I want to reach that goal
I have the support from my boyfriend of two years, but sometimes I need the support of those who are on this journey with me. I hope that you guys can help me achieve this goal and we can all push through together
I know I can do it!

Good for you! It's always a good time to start healthy (or at least healthier) habits. Best of luck to you! Stick with it and never give up!0

Hey, girl! Welcome to the start of your journey to good health!
Just wanted to say, you're probably not really that much over-weight! I'm almost 17, 5 foot 2 and weigh 135(most of the time!) and my doctor says I'm at a healthy weight for my body type! I'd suggest going to your doctor if you haven't already and asking his/her opinion of what you should weigh! All doctors say that the boards that tell you what you should weigh only based on height and age are wrong!
However, exercise and clean eating will make you feel better, and be much healthier!
I personally lost 20 pounds in 2010 but put five back on. I go back and forth between 130 pounds to 140 pounds, and I'm ok with that! Once I hit 140 it's back to strictly eating clean though! Like I said, 135 is where I stay most of the time.
I STRONGLY recommend doing Zumba! And I've never even taken a real class, just done it with youtube videos!
Anyway, I know you can do this girl! Hang in there and God bless!0 -
Sorry, I got mixed up! I lost the weight in 2011, not 2010.0
