Weight loss techniques and plateaus

Lately I lost 8kgs in 5 weeks. I did the following:
1. Calorie counting - I ate about 1000-1200 calories daily (mostly vegetables - raw and stir fry)
2. I drank 6-8 litres a day
3. I did 30 mins exercise - walking around the housing area
4. I ate 6 times a day - small portions of vegetables
5. I avoid totally, sugar, bread, rice, noodles, biscuits and sweet stuff
6. I eat a little meat - 100grams every other day
7. I used myfitnesspal to monitor my daily caloric intake - previously using excel worksheet
8. I read dr adamo's "eat according to your blood type" - me, type B, I avoid chicken, tomatoes, nuts and corn
9. I read dr atkins diet on how carbs affect me

Essentially, I feel good I have gotten below 80kgs for first time in 20years. Still got a long way to go. My next target is 70kgs. Care to share some tips over at your side?

Someone shared with me on "Intermittent Fasting" - am considering this because sometimes I have a "cheat" day and eat what I like. I fast the next day so that my average caloric intake for the week remains withing the 1000-1200 calories per day

Share please? Love to hear from you guys and learn as well from you too :)

Congrats on wright loss ...but I believe that body goes into starvation mode under fast....so I am for eating proportionately and losing weight healthily....eating only vegetables is a no for me....we need proteins, fats and carbs too.....
