I have been reading some on the health benefits of mixing honey & cinnamon w/hot water. Does anyone do this? Either for weight loss, lower blood sugar, etc? If so, did it work? Do you do it has a drink. I have been doing a mix of honey, cinnamon & peanut butter with either whole grain bread or fruit for breakfast. Any opinions, advice? Thanks.

Have you tried almond butter instead of peanut butter? Peanut butter is actually a legume not a true nut and peanut butter has alot of sugar in it compared to almond butter.
I don't use honey much because id rather spend those 60 cals on a piece of fruit but that's just me, I try to get as much bang for my buck in food just because i struggle with so many cravings.
I definitely wouldn't use it as a meal replacement, but i know herbal tea, especially green tea is supposed to be really good for weight loss too, no doubt you can add the honey to it too, some extra benefits ;)

Peanut butter isn't that bad in terms of sugar if you buy an all-natural brand like Crazy Richard's instead of Jif or Skippy. The calorie counts for PB and almond butter are still pretty close - usually around 180 to 210 calories per two tablespoons and they mostly come from fat rather than sugar.

I don't know if it has any particular health benefits to boost weightloss but on the weekends when I actually have time to cook breakfast I put a local made honey spread on my toast instead of butter or jam (honey with pumpkin and spices). Its YUMMY and a dab will do you because its STRONG. I think I might use like 1TSP or something. Which is good because its also expensive lol.

I do replace hot tea for coffee now and then because its less acidic.... and put a tsp of honey in it to sweeten.
