Going over on certain things

Hi All,

Does anyone else struggle to fit their calories AND nutrition goals? For example, I know I've gone over on sugar by '-18' today, and I've already added what I plan to eat when I get in, and that's taken me over my sodium for the day.

What number would it have to hit for you to consider it a badly planned day? For example, I'm not bothered about being -3 on the sodium, but a bit annoyed I didn't notice my sugar going to -18, albeit from fruit which topped me over.

Even though I like carbs, I honestly rarely hit my mark there. I'm often over on sugar, which I do need to stay under because my blood sugar was quite high at my last doctor's visit. I try to use my sugar only with fruit because it's more filling.

50%, then I would think I maybe need to do better tomorrow. For me it's not worth all the trouble of micro managing every aspect of my diet. I would rather focus my energies on things that have a bigger impact. More intense workout, etc. I want this to be a lifestyle. I don't want it to be my life.
