Anyone know how long protein powder lasts?

I've got a zip lock bag of EAS protein powder left over from last year. It's been sealed for 9-12 months. I think I bought it last summer, but I don't see an expiration on the bag. Anyone know if their protein powder has an expiration, how long does it last? It's just powder form, so I would think it would last a long time, but maybe I'm wrong.

It can go bad. Does it stink? If not, go for it. If you go for it and it tastes funny, throw it out. As long as it's been dry and not exposed to high heat, you should be fine.

Yeah, yeah, it's a zip loc bag of protein powder. Good story! Stick with it! Really, I agree, if it doesn't stink or taste funny, it's probably OK. But I'm sure it had/had an expiration date or Best Used By date.

Probably not the best description. EAS comes in a re-sealable bag, if that makes more sense than zip-lock.

It still smells like vanilla. I guess I'll give it a shot. I'd imagine I'll find out later today if it went bad.
