I started running a couple months ago, but I was born with degeneration of the miniscus in both knees and that's flarred back up and I'm not allowed to run until I get to my goal weight (If I can ever).. The feeling I got while running was amazing. Was able to scream at myself in my head and motivate myself like crazy and I can't get that feeling/release with any other exercise I'm doing. Anyone have ideas that I can do that would get that same sensation?

I take swim aerobics Mon and Wed at the Y and do the Glider machine 3-4x a week, but still can't get that same feeling. Am I just crazy? Haha0

Weight lifting.
I feel like a badass every time I am able to lift more and more weight.0 -
What about spinning?0

Swim aerobics isn't going to do that for you. LAP SWIMMING is what will put you in that zone. There's too much going on with the whole swim aerobics thing for you to hit the same kind of wall.
Personally, I'm a fan of rowing for that kind of zen workout...0 -
I agree that you should swim laps. It's easier on your joints/muscles and you still get an amazing workout. Plus, you'll have killer arms after a couple of months.0

Cycling? Where do you live. My main method of cardio is cycling. Love it, and it's a great way to see the world.0
