Ouch...getting fit = aches and pain

I've been averaging 60 to 70k steps a week for the last few months and I ramped up to that number starting in November, 2012.

All that walking (and some jogging - week 6 C25K) has left me with aches in both my hips. I already am prone to biomechanical issues (flat feet, chronic SI joint pain). So I brought in the reinforcements.

I met with a PT today and we did a 1.25 hour evaluation. She was great. She did say I could keep doing C5K and Jazzercise, each 3x week. But I'm to lay off trying to reach 10k steps a day. At least till we make some progress with the exercises I'm supposed to do.

I will admit, I wasn't surprised she'd recommend curtailing some activity but I'm a little nervous about not being as active as I've been. Hopefully this won't impede my progress.
