    oh no not the imaginary numbers


    we learn BIDMAS at uni but my kids do BODMAS at school ( order or indicies). What does the E stand for?

    BEDMAS
    Brackets, Exponents, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction.

    I learned it as PEMDAS
    Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction

    Yep, I was taught PEMDAS too. It boggles my mind when these questions are posted on facebook and 95% of the people are wrong
