30 day shred with running

Yesterday was my first day of doing Jillian's 30 day shred. Up until now I've just been running. Today I was super sore so ran 3 miles instead of the video. (I don't think I could have lifted the weights if I tried)

Has anyone else rotated in the 30 day shred with cardio? Will it defeat the purpose of the short high intensity workouts if I don't do them everyday? I enjoy running and want to start up yoga again but I don't think I have enough time to do them if I'm committing to Jillian's workout everyday.

    I can do them both on the same day--I've done it both ways and it works better for me to go run first and then do the 30 Day Shred. I'm used to running, so a short (3 or 4 mile) run is gentle enough so that it's just a good warm up for the hell Jillian is going to put me through. Still, while I'm doing 30DS I'm only going to run every other day, because I also usually do 3 Pilates classes a week, and the days when I end up doing all three are killer. So I'm going to drop the runs on Pilates days.
