So I have started doing the treadmill 60 minutes every day.. I start at 4.0 incline at 3.5 speed ...do it for 10 minutes..
then put the incline at 8-9.0 for 20 minutes.. then 10 minutes at 4.0 3.7 speed, back to 8-9.0 incline at 3.7 speed
then the last 10 minutes incline 4.0 speed 3.5. after Im done I do 30 minutes of strength training. Does this seem like enough? Is my treadmill workout good for weight loss?

Thanks!
Stacey

It depends on how your heart rates work. If this workout makes your heart beat at its cardio range or even a bit lower, it will seem like a fat-losing workout.

i barely mess with incline because of my knees, but yea, this will certainly at least start the process. keep challenging yourself, you'll know when you can increase speed.

5 months ago i was way out of shape. now i can easily do an hour at 6mph and do hiit at 10+ mph.

figure out your approximate cal burn using the online calculator at runner's world --
