Hello! I'm Catherine.
I'm striving to lose all the weight (and then some) that I gained due to what was entirely a lack of self-control and laziness on my behalf. I don't like to weigh myself often- I have a tendency to become a bit too concerned with the scale- but at my heaviest I was a US 22 in jeans, at my thinnest I was a US 10, and I've gone up to a US 12.
The excess weight is really taking a toll on my energy and I'm tired of utilizing my baggy clothes (What I'd been using as loungewear, practically, at my smallest!) to hide myself. I'm ready to get this fat off.
I hope to meet some great people here and help motivate one another. Feel free to add me!

Hey Catherine! I am sort of re-new to this software, and am just browsing around the website and saw your post. I too got lazy and losing self-control from eating, and decided to get back into shape after the breakup with my ex. It's been a long journey so far, but I started from 175 (which is not logged in here), but was 163 2 weeks ago. I decided not to log these past couple weeks because I was sick and couldn't go exercise. But I'm back and fully engaged in food logging and exercising. I'm starting to be able to run longer as each week goes by. I like to do 4 miles a day on the weekdays and go a little longer on the weekends. I like go cycling too so I'll be switching up with that on the nice days outside. On a lazy/rainy day, I want to do some zumba or dance exercises at home. The great thing about the xbox is it'll calculate the number of calories burned as well. I've just been getting absorbed in the exercises because it's fun, gives me a chance to listen to fun music and gets me closer towards my goals. And I am a pretty competitive person, so when someone I know is getting a better time than me in running, I try to trump that. It's been fun, and I definitely like seeing the healthy improvements I've made through checking the numbers and stats.0
