    I'm not sure if the game was ever available for real in the US. But it was a hugely popular meme. An industrial song was made based on it.

    Back then, unless it came from a large studio, translation work wasn't very good. The European release of Zero Wing was a perfect example of that.

    It was the base of many of my fellow nerds convos. The translation, though funny, wasn't really the point
    I don't even remember the point anymore, I just know it was fun!

    Actually the game was decent on The Mega Drive ( Genesis for people who grew up in the US), the translation was terrible if you weren't used to anime, otherwise it was not too bad of a translation.
