I came off it as I was becoming obsessed with calorie counting. In two weeks though, I've put on five pounds! How do you manage not to obsess about it?

I don't think I am obsessive, but if you asked my husband he would probably say that I was. But then again, I am on a diet and he is eating whatever he likes.

I found that if I do not stop what I am doing and log right away sometimes I forget what I snacked on or do not know the portion size I ate. Also, when we eat at a chain restaurant I usually look in the MFP database first to see how many calories. Some people might find this weird but I have been shocked by the calories in some of the restaurant foods that I thought would be "healthy".

Sometimes in order to meet a goal we have to shift our priorities a little and for right now I'm ok with that.

I've had mine for a week. This morning I forgot my phone at home and my first thought: "Oh no! I'm not going to be able to sync and check on my calorie burn throughout the day!" Then I remembered I had my iPad. :embarassed: So yeah, I'm feeling a little obsessive. I'm hoping once the newness wears off, it will become a little less of a focus.
