How long should I lift? I stay on the gym for 1.15hrs on average. That includes 20m cardio, 15m abs, and the rest for lifting weights .

Sounds fine to me. I spend about an hour lifting.0

Adrenalin lasts for about an hour. After that you get negative hormones / substances that break down muscle instead of build it, forgot the name.
So for lifting an hour is about right I think.0 -

Muscle and strength aren't build while you're lifting, they're built while you're recovering from a controlled overload. So you do the overload in the gym, and then you rest/recover so the muscle can adapt. 3x whole body compound lifts a week is ideal for most recreational lifters. If you want to go more often then look into a split routine so each major body area still gets its 2-3 day break between sessions.0
