Runners high - not just for humans anymore!

Interesting article explaining that our cursorial pets (i.e. dogs and likely (though unconfirmed) cats) can get the same runners high that humans get from sustained aerobic exercise.

it explains so many things, like why my dog gets so excited when I put on my running gear and why my cats love to race around the house at 3am...

    Giggle. Cool. Although my dogs are the laziest! of course 1 of them is 16 years old, and the other is 12:happy:
