confused about calorie consumption!

Hi I was wandering if anyone could offer me some advice. I have recently decided to sort out my health and fitness. I am 5'6 and 118 pounds so losing weight isn't really my goal. I'm thin but have hardly any muscle tone and a little fat I need to lose on my stomach and hips. I have an extremely clean diet, I work out about 4 times a week with a mixutre of hiit and weight training.

So to my question- in oder to look lean and have muscle tone do should I stick to my 1300 (ish) cal a day diet or do I need to eat more to put on muscle or can I keep low cals to not put extra fat on and still manage to get a toned, lean body? Thanks
