Bad diet habits?

I've been reading a lot of interesting posts lately and I'm starting to realise that alot of people have bad habits that they struggle to overcome. What have been yours?
Mine have been not eating enough, when I was young and tried to lose weight I starved myself. It's still very difficult now to get out of that mind set and realise that you need to eat more to lose weight!
My other one is too much cardio, again this stems from being young and thinking starving and tonnes of cardio would make me slim. I'm gradually trying to reduce cardio and increase resistance work.
I just feel so fat and icky if I don't do lots of cardio and eat lots (even if its good whole foods!)
Another one I have overcome is being on a 'diet' I like to think of being fit and healthy as an every day lifestyle now!
What about you?

My current bad habit is thinking (ok, obsessing lol) about maintenance. I know statistically there's a 95% failure rate for long term weight loss success, and I'm trying to figure out how to be part of the 5% Eventually I know I'll relax about it, but right now maintenance is still new and I'm hyper aware of the scale yet!0

My bad habit includes starting out strong then getting lazy and giving up when I don't see at least a 2 pound loss each week. I know I am 57 years old and my metabolism is slowing to 2 lbs a week is a lot to expect. I've yo-yo dieted so much in my life, I don't know if my body even knows what weight it will be happy at! Another bad habit is thinking like this is a diet when in fact it is a life change, not a short term thing and that worries me. I don't believe in myself enough to get to my goal weight, and I guess that is my worst habit.0

I have an all or nothing mentality. It's always been my downfall. I'm trying not to stress about anything too much this time around. It's a lot easier to stay on task if you aren't giving up because you had a jelly bean.0

I tend to get bored, and unfortunately cooking falls into the category of things I get bored with. So then in the past I would start eating out, my calories would creep up and boom, back to square one or worse. Just because I wasn't paying attention. So like it or not, I have to continue to pay attention, indefinitely. However, I don't have to bite off forever in one chunk, just meal by meal. I have expanded my list of ohsoveryeasy go-to meals and rarely "need" to eat out any more since I plan my days better (even if it means packing lunch in a cooler because we are on the go all day).
I also tried to be "perfect", and that was all or nothing. Once I truly got my head around what it means to have a lifestyle change, it was so much easier...I don't have eat perfectly, I have to eat in a way that I can eat forever, and that includes pizza and chocolate. This took care of binging and oh well the day is already shot mentalities.0
